See, I TOLD you there was going to be metamorphosis.

Today we launched wemustbecursed.com, the standalone site for all things fun about sports (sorry, in a bit of a grim mood today, details here). This is an exciting time, and although the roles of wemustbecursed.blogspot.com and wemustbecursed.com are not fully set at this point, they both will have a role and we'll keep you updated as we progress.

Evolution Update

Those of you who follow WMBC on twitter (@wemustbecursed) may notice that now we have a super cool half an inch by half an inch logo. I know, baby steps, but as someone once echoed through the halls of the mountains of 38th, revolution starts with a whisper! Follow WMBC on twitter for cool updates other than the posts that are put here!

Big Week for WMBC

Lots of things happening around the sports world lately. Lebron gave up / picked championships over loyalty decided to "take his talents to South Beach" (honestly, the only thing missing from his explanation of why he was going to Miami was him wearing a Miami Heat baseball hat and giddily talking about how that's where all the cool kids were like high school recruits do. Cmon Lebron, you're held to a higher standard than that...), the Netherlands waited 32 years to lose in the Finals again, this year's HR derby has come and gone (is there a curse associated with participating in it?), and the MLB All-Star game is tonight (14 years is preposterous guys...).

Perfectly timed to all these happenings is a big week for WMBC too. We're undergoing a metamorphosis. As such, it may be a slower week, but I'll try to get to all the pertinent topics as soon as I can with as much intensity as always. I'll also be keeping you updated with how the revolution is going.

Admin Stuff for WMBC: Update!

Ok, ok, I hear you. The masses have spoken, and I have listened.

Mouseover texts with links that are somewhat ambiguous are awesome. But not to the point of degrading my reader base. Keep it contained to when it's needed, don't overdue it, and don't make the text ruin the links.

Anymore fine tuning you can think of, don't hesitate to pass on a friendly word.

Quick Admin Stuff

Big changes here at WMBC. Now the links have mouseover text! That's right, now you can hover over each link for a brief sometimes satirical description of why the link is relevant. Why? Jokes that go over people's heads aren't actually funny at all, and only including some people, like little Jamie Harrison down the street with his super cool clubhouse, is mean and stupid and the clubhouse was probably dumb anyways. But I digress.

All future posts from here on out will include links with mouseover text, and I'll be working backwards to update old posts with these helpful hints. So check back if you had absolutely no idea what I was refering to in a previous post and hopefully we can help clear up the madness. Catch you later.

Administrative Stuff for WeMustBeCursed

I'm sure you diehard followers noticed the hour of panic this blog experienced on Thursday (things got ugly with the templates), but rest assured, this is all for long term good. I have grandiose ideas for this blog, so things may start looking a little different in the near future.

For now the only change is purely one out of vanity. In an attempt to make the blog look a little neater, "Read More" links will now be appearing after the first paragraph or so of posts, so click the link to read each individual blog post, and enjoy easier skimming.
